Color concepts. Have to say, I'm not really good with colors. And I avoid CG because it takes a long time since I suck at it.

I don't know why but traditional watercolor soothes me... it's like a warm cup of hot chocolate.

[2nd Year] Storyboard Assignment #6 - TV Boards Beat Boards

This assignment's purpose was to create clean TV-style boards with one particular sequence in the story.

The story is about 2 dragons fighting each other to see who's the better dragon: who destroyed more towns, who can breath fire further, who ate more knights and who has prettier princess etc...

The hero is the fat dragon who always gets provoked by the sly villain dragon. The comic relief is the stupid knight who tries to kill the dragon and save the day but always gets kicked around by the dragons. The loved one is just random princess

I was actually thinking of my story being shown in TV as one of those afterschool cartoon episodes. It was fun... imagining...

^ Conflict: I'm better than you
Two dragons are arguing in the middle of the town square.

^ Resolution #1: Yes, you are.
Villain captures more knight than the hero.

^ Resolution #2: Third person wins.

The dragons destroy each other and the comic relief knight accidently becomes the hero who saves the town from total destruction, as well as the princess.

[2nd Year] Storyboard Assignment #4 - Sequential Leica with Pre-recorded Song

The class was divided into two groups and each of us had to do one section of the song. All had to flow well from one section to another without any timing problem or any major change in the design.

I did the first sequence. You'll notice the style change when the sequence changes.

[2nd Year] Storyboard Assignment #1 - Beat Boards

The assignment started with 2 nursery rhymes. We were supposed to come up with 4 boards that illustrates the main arc, and then expand them into beat boards. These are the beat boards.

For once, we have a good, no the best storyboard teacher! Nancy might be the only teacher that I really can learn to respect (somehow the sentence doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean). Talk about some imagination! I never thought I was imaginitive but compared to her, I really got a long long way to go... *sigh*
